Memberships for your community

Patron support is a membership for you, the host: supporters subscribe to everything you organize, your tiers sit on your public profile, and the money lands on your own payment account every period.

Free to set up — connect a provider, then publish your first tier from your account. Supporters are billed on your own provider, with no Senvow per-sale fees.

Membership fees, side by side

What each platform takes from a recurring membership payment — published pricing, August 2026.

Membership and recurring-support platforms compared on platform fee, monthly price and who holds the money, from each provider's published pricing or help pages, August 2026. Each row describes only the platform named in its first column — the Senvow row is Senvow's own pricing: no per-sale fee, free to start, payments to the seller's own payment account. All other rows are competitors' published pricing, not Senvow's.

Each row shows only the named platform's published pricing (August 2026) — check the sources below for current rates. Payment providers charge their own processing rates everywhere, including on Senvow; this table shows what the platform itself takes on top. Several of these pay out to your own Stripe too — the difference is that every one of them still takes a cut, a monthly fee, or both.

What patron support gives you

They support you, not one event

A patron backs the whole thing you do — the free series, the small stage, the next idea that has not happened yet.

Paid on your own account

The subscription runs on your own PayPal, Stripe, Square or Mollie. Senvow never holds the money and takes nothing per payment.

Tiers that say something

Two or three amounts, each with its own name and promise — a thank-you at the show, early access, a seat kept free.

A supporter price on what you sell

An optional discount applies automatically when a patron buys from you — no code, no manual list to keep.

Cap the exclusive tiers

An optional member cap keeps the top tier small and pauses new subscriptions once it is full.

On the profile people already visit

Your plans sit on your public profile, so anyone who came for one of your events can find a way to back you.

Tiers on your profile, money on your account

Two or three amounts, each with its own promise. Supporters pick one and back everything you do.

  • They back you, not one nightYour plans live on your public profile and cover everything you organize.
  • Tiers that mean somethingName each one and say what it gets — cap the exclusive ones if you want.
  • Straight to your accountEvery charge runs on your own provider. There is no Senvow payout to wait for.

How it works

1

Connect your payment provider

PayPal, Stripe, Square or Mollie — the subscription is created on your account, so the money never passes through Senvow.

2

Write your tiers

Give each one an amount, a name and a description of what backing you means. Two or three tiers is usually enough.

3

Pick the cadence and the extras

Daily, weekly, monthly or yearly, with an interval count. Add perks, an optional cap for exclusive tiers and an optional supporter discount.

4

Supporters join from your profile

Anyone visiting sees the amount and cadence spelled out. Subscribing sends them to your provider's checkout; once it confirms, they are a patron.

Online payments run through your own payment provider account — we never hold your funds, and Senvow charges no per-sale fees (your chosen payment provider may charge its own processing fees). Your yearly sales volume counts both cash and online takings. Venue slots count the venues you actively own — set one to private or remove it and the slot frees up. Memberships renew yearly and can be cancelled anytime.

Selling tickets as well?An event membership is a pass your regulars hold for one thing you run. Patron support covers everything you do — many hosts offer both. See event memberships

Patron support questions

What does Senvow charge for a supporter payment?

Nothing per payment. The subscription is created on your own payment provider, which charges its normal processing rate and settles the money to you. Senvow's own plans are a flat subscription that does not scale with what you sell.

How is this different from an event membership?

An event membership belongs to one event and shows beside its tickets. Patron support belongs to you, shows on your profile, and covers everything you organize. You can offer both.

Do I need to run events to offer it?

You need a free Senvow account and a connected payment provider. Your public profile is where supporters find your tiers — events make it easier to be found, but they are not a requirement.

What happens when a patron cancels?

They keep their perks until the end of the period they already paid for, then the membership lapses. If a renewal fails, they keep their status for a 7-day grace window while your provider retries.

How many tiers should I offer?

Most hosts offer two or three at different amounts — a small one anyone can say yes to, a middle one that is the real offer, and sometimes a capped tier with something scarce in it.

Who handles refunds?

You do, in your payment provider's dashboard. A patron can request one from their orders and you are notified.
